At a glance, the incentives you can claim depend on the type of energy you use to heat your home.
If you heat your home with a gas furnace powered by NW Natural, you may qualify for incentives through Energy Trust of Oregon.
If you live in Central Oregon and have a gas furnace with fuel from Cascade Natural Gas, you may qualify for incentives offered directly by the utility.
If your home is heated with electricity from Portland General Electric (PGE) or Pacific Power, you could also access incentives through Energy Trust of Oregon.
For homes heated by electricity from Midstate Electric Cooperative or Central Electric Cooperative (CEC), you may be able to claim incentives from your utility.
Finally, if you heat with oil or propane, you may qualify for the State Home Oil Weatherization (SHOW) Program, which offers incentives for specific energy-saving upgrades.
